AC Residual Current operated Circuit-Breaker with Overcurrent Protection

The DZ30LE-80 AC Residual Current operated Circuit-Breaker with Overcurrent Protection, supplied by Chinese manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is designed for single-phase or three-phase distribution in residential, commercial and small-scale PV systems. It provides integrated protection for AC 230/400 V circuits up to 80 A, combining overload, short-circuit and 30 mA earth-fault protection; its 30 mA sensitivity and 6 kA breaking capacity make it suitable for the AC supply side of Mode-3 and Mode-4 new-energy vehicle charging points up to 63 A per phase.

1.EV Charging Point Protection – The DZ30LE-80 RCBO, offering 4.5 kA breaking capacity and 30 mA earth-leakage sensitivity, is ideally suited for single-phase 7 kW Mode-3 home wall-boxes or 11 kW three-phase distribution boxes when paired with an additional 4-pole RCCB. It integrates overload, short-circuit and life protection in one modular width, safeguarding users in home garages, small-office carports and light-commercial charge points without nuisance tripping.

2.Residential and small-commercial battery-storage systems
● 2-pole unit can be wired in series with the 230 V AC output of a hybrid inverter to give earth-fault and over-current ,under- voltage,over-voltage protection for the indoor distribution board that feeds critical loads.

3.AC sub-distribution inside containerised or cabinet-style Commercial and Industrial storage plants
• Suitable for 220–240 V auxiliary circuits such as cooling fans, PLC power supplies, lighting and socket outlets that are powered from the storage system’s own service transformer or isolation transformer.
• Provides both short-circuit (6 kA) and earth-leakage protection in one device, saving panel space.
