DC Surge Protective Device is designed for PV, energy-storage and general DC systems. This series includes 1000 V DC surge protective devices and 1500 V DC surge protective devices. DC surge protective devices provide protections against lightning surges, switching surges and transient over voltage. They are essential for safeguarding solar strings, inverters, battery racks, combiner boxes and EV chargers across residential, commercial & industrial, and utility-scale installations.

1500V DC Surge Protective Device

The SYS5-40P 1500V DC Surge Protective Device, supplied by China manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, safeguards 1500 V DC busses in utility-scale solar plants, containerized BESS and high-power EV charging stations, featuring a 5.2 kV protection level, thermally monitored fail-safe disconnect and remote signalling contact for SCADA integration.

The wiring height is the same as that of the fuse and circuit breaker. Busbars can be used for convenient wiring.

1000V DC Surge Protector Device

The SYS5-40P 1000V DC Surge Protector Device, supplied by China manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, protects 500–1000 V DC circuits in residential rooftop PV, small C&I installations and battery back-up systems, offering 3.9 kV voltage-protection-level and a DIN-rail, IP20 housing that fits easily inside a home distribution box.
