AC Miniature Circuit Breaker

The SC65-125 AC miniature circuit breaker, supplied by China-based manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a 230/400 V AC, 6–125 A C/D-curve breaker with a 6 kA breaking capacity, featuring positive-contact indication, rail mounting and IP20 finger-safe terminals, designed for feeder and final-circuit protection in residential, commercial and light-industrial switchboards.

Application Scenarios

1. Main-distribution boards – Feeder protection

Installed as an incoming or feeder breaker in 400 V three-phase distribution panels, the SC65-125 protects the cable run from the main switchboard to sub-distribution boards in office buildings, hospitals and shopping malls. Its 6 kA breaking capacity safely clears downstream short-circuits without affecting the upstream breaker.

2. Sub-distribution boards – Final-circuit protection

Mounted on 35 mm DIN rail inside floor-level consumer units, the breaker supplies and protects final circuits such as lighting rails, socket banks and HVAC fan coils. The C/D trip curves allow high in-rush loads (e.g., fluorescent drivers or compressor motors) to start without nuisance tripping.

3. Industrial control panels – Motor branch circuits

The 125 A frame size feeds 15–45 kW three-phase motors when paired with a contactor and overload relay. The positive-contact indication gives maintenance staff a clear OFF position for lock-out/tag-out during conveyor or pump servicing.

4. Prefabricated meter enclosures – Utility metering switch

Utility companies use the breaker as a meter-isolator in outdoor kiosk panels. The IP20 finger-safe terminals prevent accidental contact, and the toggle can be sealed in the ON position to deter unauthorized disconnection.

5. Residential service entrances – High-capacity apartments

In luxury high-rise units with 100 A single-phase supplies, the SC65-125 acts as the main switch and over-current device, protecting the apartment busbar and sub-feeds to EV chargers, heat-pump units and smart-home distribution blocks.
