Residual Current Operated Circuit Breaker

The SYM6L Residual Current Operated Circuit Breaker, supplied by China-based manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a 400 V AC, 125-250 A thermal-magnetic circuit breaker featuring adjustable trip settings and an 85 kA rated ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity (50 kA rated service breaking capacity). With a double-break contact system and positive isolation, it is designed for reliable circuit protection in commercial switchboards, solar AC combiner boxes, and motor feeder circuits.

Application scenarios

1. 400 V PV grid-tie box

After string inverters are paralleled to the low-voltage bus, the breaker trips on transient faults and auto-recloses within 0.5-30 s, cutting generation losses for rooftop or car-port plants.

2. Industrial & commercial floor-level switchboards

Used as an incoming or outgoing feeder, its 35 kA service breaking capacity covers high fault currents in workshops; auto-reclose eliminates the need for on-site manual reset.

3. LV outgoing circuits in package substations

Replaces standard MCCBs on the 0.4 kV side; automatic re-energisation after a short-circuit trip shortens substation outage time and improves supply continuity.

4. Remote PV blocks in agro-PV or fishery-PV sites

Long AC collection lines often trip on momentary earth faults or lightning; the reclosing function saves long maintenance drives and reduces O&M cost.

5. AC side of battery PCS

Installed between the PCS and isolation transformer, it recloses automatically when the grid recovers from voltage dips or momentary losses, safeguarding peak-shaving revenue.

6. Telecom towers & lighthouse micro-grids

In unattended sites the breaker recloses after mains or diesel-generator transients, keeping the base station powered without manual inspection.
