SGB5-40P High Voltage DC Miniature Circuit Breaker, supplied by China manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a 1500 V DC, bidirectional and non-polarized miniature circuit breaker with 1.5 kA breaking capacity — ideal for PV, BESS and EV-charger protection.

The SGB5-40P delivers space-saving, safe, bidirectional protection for 1500 V DC renewable-energy systems — PV, storage, EV chargers and DC micro-grids.

1. PV DC Combiner Boxes

The 1500 V DC rating allows longer strings, cutting the number of combiner boxes; bidirectional protection handles reverse night-time currents.

2. Commercial / Residential Battery Racks

Non-polarized wiring simplifies paralleling or swapping battery modules; thermal-magnetic trip quickly isolates charge/discharge faults.

3. 150 kW+ DC Fast-Charging Stations

The 18 mm-wide DIN-rail design fits compact charger cubicles; the 1.5 kA breaking capacity secures the internal DC bus.
