2-3.5KW AC Portable Charging Gun

The 2-3.5KW AC Portable Charging Gun, supplied by China manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a 230 V single-phase Mode-2 charging cable constructed with a UV-stabilised TPU-overmoulded gun head and IP65-rated sealing for long-lasting outdoor or garage service. The control box houses an embedded MCU that generates PWM pilot signals, a 30 mA Type-A + 6 mA DC RCD for personnel protection, a 16 A relay for load switching and an NTC temperature sensor that throttles or cuts current when plug pins exceed 85 °C, while the 5 m flexible rubber cable ensures dependable power delivery. Engineered for 8 A / 10 A / 13 A / 16 A selectable current, it provides essential slow charging and on-road emergency top-up.

Application scenarios

1. Home Overnight Charging – Plug the 16 A gun into a standard Schuko socket, select 8 A or 10 A on the in-line box and wake up to a full battery without installing a wall-box.  

2. Week-end Cottage or Hotel Stay – Slip the IP65-rated cable into the boot; guests can top-up from any 230 V outdoor outlet, giving site owners an instant EV amenity with zero capex.  

3. Road-side Emergency Boost – When a public station is out of order, the 5 m flexible cable reaches the nearest socket, delivering 3.5 kW for 15–20 km of range per hour while waiting for assistance.
