PV Box Transformer

The SYCM7 PV Box Transformer, supplied by China manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a factory-built, 10 kV/0.8 kV step-down substation constructed from corrosion-resistant, UV-stable steel plate and IP54-rated sealing for decades of outdoor service. Inside the enclosure a high-efficiency oil-immersed transformer sits between a gas-insulated HV RMU (load-break switch + fuse protection) and a withdrawable LV breaker (ACB 630 A–1600 A), while a four-remote RTU delivers telemetry, tele-control, tele-metering and tele-signal to the utility SCADA. An intelligent temperature controller continuously monitors winding and oil temperature, triggering fan banks or trip commands when limits are exceeded, and Class C surge arresters on both HV and LV sides guard against lightning-induced transients. Engineered for 1 MW-plus ground-mount, large C&I rooftop or agrivoltaic PV parks, the skid-mounted unit provides complete medium-voltage reception, step-down transformation and low-voltage protection without requiring onsite civil works or separate control rooms.

Application scenarios

1.Utility-Scale Solar Parks

Dropped onto a cast-in concrete pad, the skid-mounted SYCM7 takes 10 kV from the collector lines and drops it to 0.8 kV for the inverter yard—one box, one bolt-down, grid-code ready.

2.Large C&I Rooftop Arrays

Parked at the roof edge, the slim tank accepts 10 kV utility service, steps it down to inverter voltage and builds MV/LV protection inside—no extra substation room required.

3.Agrivoltaic & Greenhouse Sites

IP54 steel shell and silicone-sealed doors shrug off ammonia, dust and daily wash-downs; the internal thermostat keeps oil cool under reflective film and humid grow-house air.

4.Solar-to-EV Charging Hubs

Planted between PV field and charger plaza, it feeds 0.8 kV straight to the dispenser switchboards; dual-side surge arresters tame transients from every plug-in and plug-out.

5.Modular 1 MW Blocks

Factory-fitted RMU, LV breaker and RTU roll in on a single skid—EPCs bolt, connect and energise within hours, cutting civil works and repeat-building costs to the bone.
