DC Drawout-Type Isolator Switch

The SYDSC-32 DC Drawout-Type Isolator Switch, supplied by China-based manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a 1500 V DC, 32 A rotary isolator featuring double-break, rotating contacts that ensure rapid arc extinction and high reliability. With a 1200 A short-circuit make-proof rating and an 8 mm contact gap, it is designed for safe circuit isolation in solar combiner boxes, battery strings, and energy-storage systems.

Application scenarios

1.PV Combiner Boxes

Mounted between strings and the inverter, the rotary handle simultaneously disconnects positive and negative conductors; the double-break contacts provide 1500 V DC arc-free isolation and give installers the visible break required for safe maintenance.

2.Battery Energy Storage DC Panels

Installed on the battery-cluster busbar, the isolator can interrupt battery-side DC in a single, rapid motion; its 1200 A short-circuit make-proof rating withstands reverse fault currents during emergency shutdowns.

3.Fast-Charging Piles

Inside 800 V fast chargers, the 4-pole version separates two independent battery feeds. The non-polar design supports bidirectional charging/discharging, while the IP66 enclosure ensures long-term outdoor reliability.
