Application scenarios
1.PV string combiner boxes
Mounted between incoming strings and the DC bus, the isolator gives
installers a visible, lockable break point for safe string maintenance or
rapid shutdown during fault conditions.
2.Battery energy-storage racks
Placed on each cluster’s positive and negative legs, it allows technicians
to isolate individual battery racks without shutting down the entire bank,
supporting hot-swap servicing and fire-safety protocols.
3.Containerized ESS skids
Used as the manual DC disconnect on the skid’s external wall, the IP66
housing withstands wash-down and dust while the 8 mm contact gap meets the
1500 V isolation requirement for NEC 690.35 and IEC 60364-5-53.
4.EV fast-charging cabinets
The non-polarized, bidirectional design safely interrupts the 800–1000 V DC
link between charger module and battery pack, enabling emergency stop or
module replacement without arc damage.
5.Rooftop commercial inverters
Installed directly beneath the inverter, the rotary handle can be locked in
the OFF position for lock-out/tag-out during inverter replacement or
arc-fault servicing, eliminating the need to climb to the roof edge combiner
box.
