Characteristic

SYF5 series fuse shell is made of high melting point PA66 material, which is safer and more reliable.
The fusible core is a variable cross-section melt made of pure silver sheet encapsulated in a melting tube made of high-strength porcelain. The melting tube is filled with chemically treated high-purity quartz sand and special treated chemicals as arc extinguishing media. The two ends of the melt are firmly connected to the end caps by spot welding.

Application scenarios

1.Residential rooftop PV (3–15 kW)

Fits 1000 V DC string boxes for single-phase 5–10 kW or three-phase 10–15 kW systems; 10.3 × 38 mm fuse links match common 6–25 A string fuses.

2.Small-carport & balcony solar kits

1000 V rating covers 2–4 strings of 450 W modules; compact 1P isolator saves space in plastic IP65 enclosures mounted under modules.

3.Household hybrid inverter-battery circuits

Isolates 48 V/51.2 V battery stacks stepped up to 600–800 V DC bus inside 5–10 kW hybrid units; 20 kA breaking handles battery short faults.

4.Domestic EV AC chargers (7–11 kW)

When chargers use internal 800 V DC PFC bus, SYF5-32P provides maintenance isolation before the DC link capacitor.

5.Low-power DC lighting / garden micro-grids
