SYF5-50P DC 1500V Fuse Holder, 50 A photovoltaic safety carrier supplied by China manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC – is a panel-mount protection unit constructed with UV-resistant polycarbonate housing and IP65-rated sealing for long-lasting outdoor performance. The holder locks a 10 × 38 mm gPV fuse element (2.2 × 13.2 cm overall) and delivers 25 kA breaking-capacity fault clearance with visible-break indication and maintenance safety, while factory-wired positive, negative and PE terminations ensure dependable grounding continuity. Engineered for single- or multi-string PV sub-arrays, it provides essential over-current isolation and equipotential bonding.

Application scenarios

1.Utility-scale PV combiner boxes

1 500 V DC strings of 182/210 mm modules up to 50 A; 10.3 × 85 mm fuse links allow 28–40 A per string, cutting the number of boxes in 2.5 MW blocks.

2.Large commercial / industrial rooftops ≥ 30 kW

Three-phase 50 kW–110 kW inverters with 1 300–1 500 V MPPT benefit from 25 kA breaking capacity and 1 mm contact gap for reliable arc extinction.

3.Containerized battery energy-storage systems (BESS)

1 200–1 500 V DC battery racks up to 2.5 MWh; 50 A rating protects each rack while the 25 kA Icu handles full battery short-circuit current.

4.150 kW–400 kW DC fast-charging stations

Protects the 1 000–1 500 V DC bus between the rectifier stack and dispenser; fuse isolator allows safe withdrawal during maintenance without shutting down the whole charger bank.

5.PV + storage EV charging hubs

Dual-use on the same 1 500 V bus: one fuse isolator per PV input string and another per battery rack, simplifying spares and logistics.

6.Desert or floating PV plants

−50 °C to +90 °C operating range and IP20 finger-safe terminals withstand harsh outdoor or high-humidity environments; 85 mm fuse element gives higher I²t let-through for long cable runs.
