200-4000A Knife Switch

The SYK18 200-4000A Knife Switch, supplied by China-based manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, designed with a robust construction, it offers a high short-circuit withstand rating and safe visible break isolation for various industrial and commercial applications.

This SYK18 low-voltage knife switch is suitable for use in distribution boxes, control panels, and as a main disconnect switch where a clear isolation point is required for maintenance and safety purposes. Its design ensures easy installation and stable performance in demanding electrical environments.

Characteristic

▶ 200A and 400A use single blades.
▶ 600, 1000, and 1500A use dual blades.

Both sides of all blades are equipped with leaf springs to achieve contact pressure, and the blades, connecting plates, and contacts are all tin-plated to enhance surface protection and improve the contact resistance of wire connections.

Application scenarios

1. AC/DC Isolation in Industrial ESS

SYK18 serves as a visible-break switch after the main breaker in 0.4 kV cabinets. After PCS shutdown, turning the handle creates a visible gap for safe maintenance. Mechanical interlock prevents live closing. 200–1600 A covers 100 kW–1 MW systems, no CT needed.

2. Low-Voltage Bus Section Isolation

SYK18-2000/2500/3150 A used as bus tie isolator. Double break (breaker + knife switch) prevents misjudgment from contact welding, meeting GB/T 5226.1 requirements. Front operation saves outage time.

3. PV Combiner Box DC Isolation

Custom SYK18 with reinforced contacts for 1000 V DC systems. 200–630 A switches per MPPT input prevent arcing after dark. Rotating operation reduces errors. Dual break with DC MCCB meets NB/T 32004.

4. Generator Utility Isolation

Installed upstream ATS in genset applications. Physical isolation prevents backfeed. 3150 A handles 2000 kVA systems with 50 kA/1s withstand. Lockable handle supports LOTO procedures.
