The 230V 400V AC Combiner Box 6 In 1 Out, supplied by Chinese manufacturer Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a dedicated AC combiner unit commonly deployed in large commercial rooftops, central-inverter skids or utility-scale ground-mounted PV plants rated 480–800 kW and above.
▶ Configuration: 6 × 4 pole AC molded case circuit breakers (160 A / 200 A / 250A rated current, 400V rated voltage), 1 × 4 pole AC molded case circuit breaker (1000 A / 1250A /1600A rated current, 400V rated voltage) and 1 × Type II 4 pole 275 V AC Surge Protective Device.
The 230V 400V AC Combiner Box 6 In 1 Out, supplied by China manufacturer
Zhejiang Soutya New Energy LLC, is a 400V three phase inverter combiner unit
constructed , UV resistant steel enclosure and IP65 sealing for durable
outdoor performance. The enclosure houses six 4 pole AC molded case circuit
breakers (160-250 A rated current ) that deliver individual over-current and
short-circuit protection to each inverter input, while a single 4-pole AC
molded case circuit breaker (1000-1600 A rated current ) provides
visible-break isolation and overload protection for the combined output.
Factory-wired L1, L2, L3, N and PE copper busbars ensure dependable
current-carrying capacity and equipotential bonding, and a built-in Type II
4 pole 275V AC surge protective device guards against lightning-induced
surges. Engineered for up to six solar string inverters (6*50–80 kW), it
provides essential AC combining, surge immunity and maintenance safety.

Application scenarios
1. Utility Scale Ground Mount Blocks (480-800 kW)
The six 160-250A molded case circuit breakers inputs accept up to six 80 kW
string inverters; the 1600A output molded case circuit breaker feeds a 400V
switchboard or MV transformer, reducing trenching and cable runs across
large solar parks.
2. Central-Inverter Skid Substations
Mounted on the inverter rack, the box acts as a “local AC hub” — paralleling
six inverter outputs before a single large feeder to the MV switchgear,
simplifying skid wiring and maintenance access.
3. Large Commercial Rooftops > 500 kW
IP65 steel housing and IK10 impact rating allow rooftop placement where
space is limited; the 400 V rated components keep cable sizes down while the
1600 A busbar carries the combined current to the building MSB.
4. Agricultural Greenhouses & Barn Clusters
The Type-2 275 V SPD protects ventilation fans, irrigation pumps and milking
equipment from lightning surges common in open fields, while individual
input MCCBs let farmers isolate one inverter without shutting down the
entire cluster.
5. Distributed 6-Pod Industrial Sites
Each 160–250 A MCCB serves as a local disconnect for a separate building
wing or car-port pod; the common 1000–1600 A output MCCB simplifies metering
and grid connection, while the SPD guards the whole site against transient
over-voltages.
